Magtech General Construction & Trading Pte Ltd completed the supply and installation of a Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP/GRP) water tank for the Centre for Banking Study in Cambodia. Completed in 2025, this project involved the replacement of an existing domestic water storage system.

The installed tank measures 4m (L) x 2m (W) x 2m (H), providing a reliable and efficient solution for domestic water usage. FRP water tanks are widely used for such applications due to their corrosion resistance, lightweight structure, and durability in tropical climates.
As a replacement project, the scope included dismantling of the existing tank and installation of the new sectional panel tank, including base, side panels, roof structure, internal reinforcements, and necessary accessories. The works were carried out efficiently with minimal disruption to the facility’s operations.
An ageing or unsuitable building water tank should be replaced through a planned sequence that considers access, temporary service arrangements, dismantling, structural support and new pipe connections. FRP/GRP sectional tanks are practical for replacement projects because the components can be moved separately and assembled at the final location. This is especially useful on rooftops or within restricted plant areas.
Although a relatively small-scale project, it reflects Magtech’s ability to deliver consistent quality and workmanship across both local and overseas markets. With extensive experience in FRP water tank systems, we continue to support domestic water storage needs for buildings across Southeast Asia.
