Client Notice
This project involved repair works to an existing FRP water tank at Meralodge, where the client reported a panel that had cracked and was giving way. The client engaged our team to assess the issue and advise on the possible solutions.

Our team conducted a detailed on-site inspection to determine the root cause of the panel failure. Following the assessment, we presented our findings clearly to both the building management and council, along with practical recommendations.
Instead of proposing a full tank replacement, we recommended a cost-effective panel replacement solution, allowing the client to make an informed decision based on budget and urgency.
Upon confirmation, our team mobilised quickly and carried out the panel replacement works efficiently within a single day. Throughout the process, we maintained close communication with the management to ensure transparency and smooth coordination.
The works were completed within the day, and the tank was successfully reinstated for use, minimising downtime and ensuring continued water supply for the building.
A damaged sectional tank panel does not always mean the complete tank must be replaced. A proper inspection helps determine whether a targeted repair can safely address the problem and extend the usable life of the existing system. For occupied condominiums, the repair plan must also consider water-supply downtime, site access and communication with building management.
With over 35 years of experience and more than 4,000 water tanks installed across Asia, Magtech continues to deliver FRP/GRP water tank repair for condominiums in Singapore.
