Project Overview

These sprinkler water tanks form part of the development’s fire protection infrastructure, providing reliable emergency water storage for the building’s automatic sprinkler system.

As one of Singapore’s most iconic and prestigious integrated developments, the project required exceptionally high standards in safety management, quality assurance, project coordination, and installation workmanship throughout all stages of execution. Due to the operational and high-security nature of the site, all installation activities had to be carefully planned and carried out in strict compliance with permit systems, safety procedures, access requirements, and operational protocols.

The project involved multiple challenging installation environments, including restricted access areas, rooftop installation conditions, and specially customized tank configurations. One of the sprinkler tanks at Level 23 was installed on top of an existing steel structure with very limited surrounding workspace, requiring extra care and precision during both dismantling and installation activities.

The two large-capacity sprinkler tanks at Level 55M were installed side by side within a constrained rooftop environment. One of the tanks required a specially customized height configuration due to structural restrictions above the tank location. To meet the site requirements, our team worked closely with the factory and engineering partners to fabricate specially sized HDG pressed steel panels while maintaining the structural integrity and performance requirements of the sprinkler water tank system.

Our scope of works included the dismantling of the existing sprinkler tanks and the complete installation of the new HDG sectional water tank systems, including the tank base structures, side panels, roof structures, internal reinforcements, and all necessary fittings and accessories. Strict quality control procedures and safety measures were implemented throughout the project to ensure long-term reliability, durability, and compliance with fire protection system requirements.

This project stands as one of Magtech’s flagship Hot-Dip Galvanized (HDG) sprinkler water tank replacement projects in Singapore, showcasing our capability to execute technically demanding fire protection water tank installations within highly regulated and operationally sensitive environments. Backed by our experienced in-house installation team and extensive expertise in sectional panel water tank systems, we are able to deliver reliable, high-quality, and safe water storage solutions for complex infrastructure projects.

Level 23 Sprinkler Water Tank Replacement Works

A Hot-Dip Galvanized (HDG) pressed steel sectional sprinkler water tank replacement was successfully carried out at Level 23 of Marina Bay Sands in 2026.

One of the main challenges of this sprinkler tank replacement project was the restricted installation environment. The tank was located on top of an existing steel structure with very limited surrounding working space. Due to the confined installation area, all dismantling and installation activities had to be carefully planned and executed with precision to ensure safe working conditions and proper installation accuracy.

Extensive coordination was required for manpower deployment, lifting operations, material movement, and work-at-height activities. Our installation team worked closely with site management and safety personnel to ensure full compliance with Marina Bay Sands’ strict permit, safety, and operational requirements throughout the project duration.

Our scope included the dismantling of the existing sprinkler water tank and the complete installation of the new HDG sectional water tank system, including the tank base, side panels, roof structure, internal reinforcements, and associated accessories and fittings. All installation works were carried out in accordance with project specifications and quality assurance requirements to ensure long-term reliability and performance for the fire protection system.

Level 55M Sprinkler Water Tank Installation Works

Two large-capacity Hot-Dip Galvanized (HDG) pressed steel sectional sprinkler water tanks were successfully installed at Level 55M of Marina Bay Sands in 2026.

The two sprinkler tanks were positioned side by side within a constrained rooftop environment, requiring detailed planning for lifting operations, material handling, manpower coordination, and installation sequencing. The project required close coordination between our installation team, engineering partners, and site management to ensure smooth execution while maintaining full compliance with site regulations and safety standards.

One of the sprinkler tanks required a specially customized tank height configuration due to structural restrictions above the tank location. To accommodate the limited overhead clearance, our team worked closely with the factory and engineering team to fabricate specially sized Hot-Dip Galvanized (HDG) pressed steel panels that could meet the required dimensions while maintaining structural integrity and design performance.

Our scope of work included the dismantling of the existing sprinkler tanks and the complete installation of the new HDG sectional sprinkler water tank systems, including tank base structures, side panels, roof structures, internal reinforcements, and all necessary accessories and fittings. Strict inspection and quality assurance procedures were implemented throughout the installation process to ensure long-term durability, reliability, and compliance with fire protection requirements.
