Magtech General Construction & Trading Pte Ltd successfully completed the supply and installation of a Hot-Dipped Galvanized (HDG) pressed steel water tank at 71 Tuas View Loop, Singapore. This tank is designed for sprinkler usage in a new-built development, forming a critical component of the building’s fire protection system.
The installed tank measures 4(2+2)m x 2m x 3m (H), providing the necessary storage capacity to support the sprinkler system requirements. HDG pressed steel tanks are widely used for fire protection applications due to their structural strength, durability, and reliability under continuous water load. The tank is designed and constructed in accordance with SS22, the Singapore Standard governing the design and construction of pressed steel sectional water tanks.
Our team’s extensive experience in steel tank installation allowed us to complete this project efficiently and within schedule — a testament to the skill and professionalism that our team consistently delivers on every project.
During the course of works, our team encountered an unforeseen obstruction at the top of the tank, which required us to customise and adjust the guardrails accordingly. Situations like these are not uncommon in on-site construction, and our experienced team was able to quickly devise and implement a practical solution, ensuring the project was completed without significant delay and to the satisfaction of our client.
With a strong track record in fire protection water storage systems, Magtech continues to deliver reliable HDG tank solutions for sprinkler systems, replacements, and new-built developments across Singapore.
