Project Overview

Magtech General Construction & Trading Pte Ltd was engaged to supply and install a Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) domestic water tank and booster system at 92 Siglap Drive, Singapore — a landed residential property undergoing a major Addition & Alteration (A&A) works overhaul.

The homeowner approached Magtech seeking a one-stop solution for her water system needs as part of a comprehensive renovation of her landed home. Not wanting to liaise with multiple separate contractors, she entrusted Magtech to coordinate the full scope of works on her behalf. While our core specialisation lies in water tank supply and installation, our many years in the industry have allowed us to build strong working relationships with trusted plumbers, pump specialists, and electrical contractors. This network enabled us to seamlessly coordinate the pump, piping, and electrical works required, delivering a complete and integrated water system solution for the client.

Landed dwellings often present specific spatial and pressure requirements that differ from commercial or high-rise developments. Our team worked closely with the main contractor and appointed consultant to assess the site conditions and recommend the most appropriate tank configuration and booster pump setup for the property’s domestic water needs. Our experience with landed residential projects allowed us to provide detailed technical guidance to all parties involved — from tank sizing and placement to booster system integration — ensuring a properly designed water supply system was established from the ground up.

FRP tanks are an excellent choice for domestic water storage in landed homes, offering a lightweight yet durable solution that is corrosion-resistant, hygienic, and well-suited to Singapore’s tropical climate. Their versatility in sizing also makes them particularly suitable for the space constraints commonly found in landed property installations.

With deep expertise in domestic water storage solutions for landed properties, bungalows, semi-detached, and terrace homes across Singapore, Magtech continues to deliver reliable, well-coordinated water tank and booster system installations — tailored to the needs of every homeowner.
