Project Overview
This project involved the supply and installation of a large-capacity FRP water tank system for the Dagupan Water District, Philippines, designed to support the water supply needs of the entire district.
As a critical infrastructure project, the system required a reliable and durable solution capable of handling high demand while ensuring long-term operational performance.
Key Challenges
The tank was designed with three compartments, requiring careful planning and coordination to ensure:
- Structural integrity across multiple compartments
- Proper load distribution and reinforcement
- Efficient installation within project constraints
The scale and complexity of the tank tested both our technical and engineering capabilities, particularly in delivering a solution that met performance and durability requirements.
Our Solution
Our team provided a fully engineered solution, including:
- Design and installation of an FRP sectional tank with external reinforcements
- Optimisation of structural support to ensure stability at 5m height
- Careful compartment configuration to meet operational and maintenance requirements
Working closely with the project stakeholders, we ensured that all specifications were met while maintaining quality and efficiency throughout the installation process.
Outcome
The completed system now serves as a reliable water storage solution for the Dagupan district, supporting continuous water supply for the surrounding community.
This project highlights Magtech’s ability to:
- Deliver large-scale water tank systems
- Handle complex multi-compartment designs
- Provide engineering-driven solutions for critical infrastructure projects
