Magtech General Construction & Trading Pte Ltd successfully delivered the supply and installation of a Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP/GRP) water tank for Koh Norea Tower 1 in Cambodia. This project features a high-level installation on a steel tower structure, demonstrating our capability to execute complex and technically demanding water tank works.
The installed tank measures 5m (L) x 5m (W) x 4m (H), designed to support domestic water usage for the development. As shown in the project photo, the tank is installed on an elevated steel tower structure, which required careful planning, structural coordination, and precise installation to ensure stability, safety, and long-term performance.
Due to the height and steel foundation, special consideration was required for load distribution, installation sequencing, and work-at-height safety. Our team ensured all works were carried out in accordance with safety requirements while maintaining accuracy during the assembly process.
Our scope of works included the full assembly of the sectional panel tank, comprising the base, side panels, roof structure, internal reinforcements, and all necessary accessories. The installation methodology was carefully planned to suit the elevated structure, ensuring proper alignment and structural integrity upon completion.
The FRP tank was designed to meet project requirements for durability and performance, with its lightweight and corrosion-resistant properties making it well-suited for elevated and high-rise applications, particularly in challenging environmental conditions.
