Replacement works were completed at Royal Plaza Hotel, Singapore in 2024, involving the installation of two (2) units of Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) sectional water tanks for domestic usage.
The installed tanks measure 11m x 6m x 3m (H) and (4+2)m x 4m x 3m (H), providing reliable water storage to support the hotel’s daily operations. As the works were carried out within an operational hospitality environment, careful planning and coordination were essential to ensure minimal disruption.
The project involved the dismantling of existing tanks and the installation of new FRP sectional panel tanks, including base structures, panels, roof components, internal reinforcements, and all necessary accessories. Works were sequenced efficiently to align with site requirements and operational constraints.
Given the nature of hotel operations, maintaining continuity of water supply was a key consideration. The replacement was carried out within the required timeline, with close coordination to ensure that disruption to building usage was kept to a minimum.
